A new design destination has arrived in Brendale, Queensland – and Schweigen Silent extraction is part of the experience.

The new Austaron Surfaces showroom at 17 Maxwell Street, Brendale, has been created as an inspiring, hands-on space for architects, designers, cabinetmakers, builders and homeowners. It brings together a curated range of premium surfaces for retail, healthcare, education, hospitality, workplace and residential projects.

At the heart of the hero kitchen hangs a striking ceiling installation: four modular Schweigen Silent Paradigma Cassette Rangehoods (CC-PARA4S) in stainless steel. Suspended above the island, they combine elegant ceiling lighting with powerful, Silent Isodrive® extraction – all within a clean grid that keeps the focus on the design below.

  Each Paradigma module integrates task lighting and extraction in a minimalist cassette. In a four-unit layout, the result is a cohesive ceiling feature that provides bright, even illumination without visual clutter.‍

  Powered by Schweigen’s German-engineered Isodrive® motor system, mounted outside the building, motor noise is significantly reduced at the cooktop. This makes it ideal for open-plan spaces, showrooms and homes where people want to cook, talk and entertain in comfort.‍
• Efficient perimeter aspiration
  Instead of relying on a single central intake, the Paradigma uses perimeter aspiration to quickly capture steam, smoke and odours along the edges of each cassette – helping to keep the space fresher during cooking demonstrations and events.‍
• Modular and flexible
  With modular configurations, designers can specify two, three or four units to suit a variety of kitchen sizes and layouts – from compact apartments to large island benches in premium homes or commercial spaces.
